The planning path

Six weeks, with one week left deliberately empty.

This is the order of the Household Foundation Plan, the engagement we use for financial planning with a household that is just starting to share a kitchen. Dates are set when you reserve. The shape below stays the same.

Before

You write to the practice and, if you already know you want the six weeks, pay the 6,000 baht that reserves the first chair. If you are unsure, the opening appointment comes first and its fee can be credited.

Week 1

Inventory. Savings books, cash, gold, debts, rent. You may bring a sibling’s name written only as “elder sister” if you want the file to stay discreet.

Week 2

The shared month. Both paydays, food, fuel, the motorbike if there is one, and the sums that already leave. Irregular income is a range.

Quiet

No meeting. You cook, you pay something, you notice what the page missed. Many households add a rice debt or a festival cost during this week.

Week 4

Family obligations and the reserve. What can be promised to parents without touching rent, and which gold is allowed to be sold in a hard month.

Week 6

The written plan is read aloud. You take it home in Thai or English. A short letter follows, restating the reserve and the family sums.

What you are asked to carry

Recent savings-book lines, a list of gold you consider household property, the rent paper if it exists, and a rough note of money sent to parents over three months. A polished budget is a hindrance if it hides the argument. Bring the argument.

Where the weeks happen

Usually in the practice room at Tambon Su-ngai Padi, Amphoe Su-ngai Padi, Narathiwat 96140. A household visit inside Amphoe Su-ngai Padi can replace a meeting when travel is agreed in advance, with 500 baht added. Beyond the amphoe, the fare is quoted before anyone leaves the room.
